Kent school
In a small town just 30 minutes away from the dutch border lays this beautiful complex with a great history. It has had many functions over the last century. The most cruel function was the time when children with a disability were euthanized. During WW2 there were about 30 of these ''hospitals''. Kent school was named 'KFA Waldniel-Hostert' during these years. After that it became a British militairy hospital. The British militairy needed more space so they restored a few buildings and build a few more. Once they didn't need it anymore it became a school, Kent School. And again a few more buildings were added to the complex. This way it became bigger and bigger. Nowadays a small German army practices at Kent School. When you are lucky they are not around while visiting this beauty. But if they are, I hope you can run fast!
I have been to Kent School with a friend of mine. She already tried to go there three times, but the small army was always around. This time, there was nobody, as far as we know. But we heard footsteps at the time we wanted to leave, so our escape route had to be fast. But in the time we were there, we took beautiful shots, and i would love to visit Kent School again.
